Our largest fundraiser is set to kick off!!

We are excited to announce Rehearse-A-Thon is back
for the 2024 marching season!

What is Rehearse-A-Thon?
 Rehearse-A-Thon is our largest fundraiser for the band as
well as a FULL DAY marching rehearsal to help our
students finalize our show for competition.

The Band Boosters provide lunch and snacks for the
students.
Donations are appreciated!

Last year was our greatest year for our annual Rehearse-A-Thon with a total donation of $21,000.  That was epic!   We were in  desperate need of instruments, band room equipment, maintenance and more.  While many of these items have been purchased and we enjoy the new equipment, this year we must keep moving forward to make your RHS Band the best program in Hillsborough County and beyond. The need for updating and repairing or replacing our instruments will never change, but  our marching season is quickly approaching.  Need for music, percussion add-ins, field props, new/returning student uniforms and equipment has greatly increased with the return to full in person school and activities.

DONATE:  gift cards, gift baskets, anything for our raffle giveaway!  must be teen friendly!  

Sign up for a station.  Can be one station or make it an all day volunteering event. Must be approved by HCPS and on the list with the Volunteer coordinator. 

Marching season is expensive: Buses to games and competitions, purchasing music, props, choreography, paying for additional sectional instructors, competition fees, etc. If we are lucky enough to raise additional funds, we can use the money to make much-needed purchases to help our band and Starlet programs. That would include replacing 20-year-old instruments still being used by students and helping to support our Starlets. Band/Starlet fees only cover a portion of the actual budget of approximately $30,000 needed to fund our program annually.

Our biggest need right now is gift baskets.  These students work hard to get more raffle tickets.. More chances to win prizes and fun items.  Consider a basket today.    If you are donating a basket or other item, please make sure it is labeled with your name, email address, "RT24" and value amount.
